Eight necessary doctrines

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Eight doctrines necessarily arising from these verses:-

 1.  God exists, he has spoken to men using words and in doing so he has revealed to men what they could not otherwise have known

 2. He used men to write down his words

 3. His words can be understood

 4. His words are intended to have a practical impact on the life of men

 5. What he has spoken is all that is needed

 6. His words were compiled into an authoritative collection

 7. His words have been preserved

 8. His words can be identified
