The three tenses of salvation

We have been saved from the punishment for sin - Justification

Acts 13:38-39 (KJV) Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

We are being saved from the power of sin - Sanctification

Romans 6:18 (KJV) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

We shall be saved from the presence of sin - Glorification

Romans 8:18 (KJV) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
